Reid Troutman

Reid Troutman is a seasoned attorney with a distinguished career spanning over 30 years in law. A graduate of Campbell County Comprehensive High School (1984), he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1988, followed by his Juris Doctor from Nashville School of Law in 1994. Since then, Reid has maintained his legal practice in good standing with the State of Tennessee.

He began his career with McCord, Troutman & Irwin (1994-1999) before co-founding Troutman and Troutman, P.C., where he served as Owner/Partner from 1999-2009. Since 2010, he has operated as the sole proprietor of Reid Troutman, Attorney at Law. Reid also holds key public roles, including City Attorney for LaFollette, Tennessee, Attorney for the Campbell County Regional Planning Commission (since 2007), and Town of Caryville Judge (since 2014). Previously, he served as City Attorney for Caryville from 2008 to 2014.

Reid’s expertise extends to real estate and title law as a title insurance producer agent and approved settlement provider for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Fidelity National Title Insurance. With deep ties to his community and a wealth of legal experience, Reid Troutman is a trusted name in title, escrow, and municipal law.
